Comments [None]Boat well maintained and crew very competent and safety oriented. Food very good and plentiful. Dive 4 times day on most days, sometimes a nite dive also. Diving usually off stern, occasionally off tender or giant stride out of deck side gate rather than off stern. Check out dive first day includes extracting the boat-provided GPS console ( size of a softball) from your BCD pocket and inflating a safety sausage- so practice these maneuvers before you arrive if you are rusty on these exercises. Boat requires you wear a snorkle - if I had known this I would have bought a roll up one I could fit in my pocket as I dislike hard tube snorkle on left side of my dive mask.Avoid flying Sydney-Carins on Jet Star, instead book this on Quantas. Jet star is a no frills cattle car.In January- summer here- water 82-84 F. so need no wet suit, just polar skin or the like for skin protection- I jettisoned my 3 mil. long wet suit after 3 days of diving and dove in boxer trunks/T-shirt ( since I brought no polar skin)- but most equipment you can rent on boat if you desire.
