Comments Really don't have any bad to say. This was a special 10 day trip specifically to dive with the Minke Whales. The trip was planned for almost 2 years with Underwater Productions.

The water was quite choppy and cooler than I expected. However, I had planned and brought a 5mm and hood so I was fine.

Mike Ball is a great dive operation. From getting to/from the boat, the crew, the food, the rooms, and the dive operation is great. I got off the boat and wanted to get right back on.

I am hoping that Mike Ball will consider more 10 day trips in the future. It gave us time to really relax, see lots of areas and get in plenty of dives.

The only comment would be a few more lights in the water for night dives. Some of the areas were dived were pretty open and it was hard sometimes to get direction back to the boat.

UW Photo Comments Lots of camera, some very large. If you have a small camera like me you can get a little lost as the big cameras take up all the space. The camera shelves are basically the top of the dive gear so when people are gearing up it can get a bit crowded.
