Mission 2020

Driven by the British manufacturer, Fourth Element, Mission 2020 is collecting pledges from diving organizations to change their business practices to help protect and preserve our oceans. With a primary focus on single-use plastic, the project sets ambitious short-term targets of changes to be made before World Oceans Day 2020.

So far, several companies have pledged to reduce or eliminate single-use plastic from the packaging of products by that date: Fourth Element, Halcyon, Aqua Lung UK, AP Diving, Shearwater, and Subgravity. Dive-Rite promises to reduce the use of single-use plastic by half. www.mission2020.org
