This sounds like a bargain to me. Air New Zealand is offering a Pacifica Explorer fare that will allow a custom itinerary with up to three stopovers in the Pacific. Destination included are Australia, New Zealand, Tahiti, Hawaii, Fiji, Cook Islands, Samoa, and Tonga for $1,099. It works like this: Make a dive trip to Fiji; pay $1,099 for air. Then add on a trip to dive Tonga, and then New Zealand, for no extra air charge. Travel must be made between April 1 and August 31, 1997, and be purchased by March 31.
