Comments Coral bleaching from a few years ago has taken its toll, but can still have interesting interactions with unique critters. Leaf scorpionfish, frogfish, pipefish, dolphins underwater, ghost shrimp. Interesting night dive in open water brings unique stuff into your lens. The trick is getting back to the wind blown boat after you let go of the rope to film... Night dive with mantas is now a full Hollywood production, but is still very cool. Boat is very good dive platform. Crew dedicated and seem genuinely interested in the underwater environment and your enjoyment of it. Chef excellent.
DM in water who can be followed (they know where to find the harlequin shrimp) or not. Dives relatively shallow profile, 60-70 min. Aluminum 80s. 3000psi+ 32% Nitrox. Tank fills at your station. Dive from the back platform. Virtually no current. Good vis. Bring 3+mm full suit and hood. Good attention to cameras. Dedicated table with air hoses and electrical outlets. 5 dives/day x 5 1/2 days = 27 possible dives
Aggressor goes south, out of range of day boats, but best dives were right outside the small boat harbor--tiger shark (brought in by fishermen cleaning their catch), dolphins, turtles, eagle rays, flounder, lots of eels, fishy.
